Wide Reflections on Tokyo

15 November 2018 ● 1 min read ● 7 images

A sample of experiments capturing panoramic film photographs of random moments and observations while exploring this beautiful and unique city.

Just a selection out of many. No colour corrections, these are straight out of the camera. The film stock offered some interesting colours so I chose to just leave them alone. I'm not a pro photographer by any means, this is a hobby, but I had a wonderful time playing around with the Hasselblad Xpan ii Panoramic camera with Cinestill film.

As a filmmaker, I love the panoramic aesthetic, it feels so cinematic and I had a lot of fun framing these and trying to find the right composition in all the beautiful chaos.
