'The Metropolis' is an art film filmed in Tokyo.
The film is my personal representation of Tokyo, and what I hope is a rare stripped down view of the city and it's outskirts.
I planned to make this film when I first moved to Japan, but after much consideration and because my original perception of Tokyo was constantly changing, I decided to wait. After living in Japan a number of years, I felt I was finally seeing Tokyo from the right perspective and could confidently make a film that was true to the location.
