Nikkei Asian Review work-life balance

The good folks at the Nikkei Asian Review asked me to illustrate an article about work-life balance in Japan and the changes that it's undergoing right now on the corporate world. The drawings had to be suitable for both online and printed use. 

I am also adding some of the in-between steps.

Above is the final illustration, followed by the pre-final. I thought the folding of a paper was a good idea, but at the end it got rejected, which is fine!
