I do think there's too much softness on parts of the picture - especially the crow's beak - unless you meant to smear it, like he's quickly moved it. Also you haven't lit the beak with the rim light you used for the rest. But aside from that it's overall pretty nice, I like it! Especially the squint of the eyes.
