A Cheapo's Guide To Tokyo

This is the cover for the new Tokyo Cheapo ebook (and soon to be physical book).

After weeks of thrashing around many cover ideas, that called for photo shoots, art direction etc. in frustration with our lack of progress, I threw this together in about 20 mins, and thus our "laser cat" book cover was born.

The 500+ page book itself, is the definitive guide to Tokyo with a focus keeping your wallet happy. It's the product of over one year's work and collaboration between myself, an editor and 8 authors.

Although I only wrote a small portion, my role was producing the whole project as well as coming up with the initial idea.
