Logo Design for Delivery Tokyo

I created this illustrated logo for a startup that, alas, never took off. If it had've popped into existence it would've been a food delivery equivalent of tabelog or gurunavi, that would've let you order and pay for take out or delivery in the Tokyo area. The challenge was to communicate the concept of food delivery and I achieved this by using traditional pizza-box imagery and colour pallette. Hope you like it.

I like the style, Stephen. Would be interested to see how it worked in-situ on a website or other marketing materials. Do you have any examples you can share?

Well, actually, it was started by a guy from Sydney, but when he returned there he decided to change the name and launch there instead. The original front-end design I did for the site has sadly been butchered over the years, but here it is anyway: https://www.deliveryhunter.com.au/
In fact, scratch that, the homepage has been completely changed, although the internal pages remain similar... so strange :/
