Local Guide to Tokyo for National Geographic

Sharing some recent work. With this article, National Geographic asked me to write 1,000 words from a personal viewpoint on why I live in Tokyo and what I recommend to visitors. It was for their new online "Where the Locals Go" section, which made it challenging in that there was nothing yet in that section to refer to in order to get a sense of the style, tone or tempo they were after; or the balance they wanted between personal and recommendations. Of course, that also meant there was more freedom.

Here it is: http://www.nationalgeographic.com/travel/destinations/asia/japan/local-guide-tokyo/

Fantastic piece, Rob! Very nicely written.
