GAS as Interface are multifaceted company based in Tokyo that bring together the creativity of artists with the needs of business. For almost 20 years they have published books, curated exhibitions and worked together with global companies like UNIQLO, The North Face, Casio and Collette to produce innovative campaigns and products with visionaries such as: Tomato, MM Paris, Mike Mills, Geoff McFetridge, Jonathan Zawada, Damien Poulain, Aaron Rose and Deanne Cheuk, often discovering talent long before the rest of the world.
We were asked to restructure the company profile and create a completely new English website, filtering the best of the work they had created since their beginnings in 1996. Through a process of extensive research, re-shooting and re-touching long forgotten but amazing projects we worked together with Noriko Fujioka to simplify and revitalise the complete portfolio, including copywriting and creating a new structure for future development and a growing list of projects.
