When I first wrote this story, I shared the idea with Rie Miyoshi, who told me she'd been trying to capture this feeling in a picture for a little while. We decided to collaborate, and the result is a story about the immensity of the world we live in, paired with a wonderful photo that reflects the idea of being just one person lost among millions of others.
I'm a Tokyo based writer who does food, coffee, and short fiction. In love with the ever constant ebb and flow of Tokyo life.
