Chinatown, Yokohama

After much angst I bought my first vintage lens, a Contax/Yashica Carl Zeiss 50mm f1.7. I'd really loved the colours and vintage look of these lenses that I'd seen on people's videos, and after much trawling on Mercari I found one that was in a decent condition and price. When it arrived I took it out that day and shot some footage around Yokohama's Chinatown. You couldn't ask for a more vibrant location, especially with the rain throwing reflections off the ground.

A fun shoot despite trying to wrestle with an umbrella and camera at the same time. I put the music together with some samples and edited the footage to it. I'd wanted to give the music a more Chinese flavour but it wasn't quite working, and this low fi style seemed to fit just right. Any feedback would be most welcome.
